AtliQo Telecom Analysis

AtliQo is one of the leading telecom providers in India and launched its 5G plans in May 2022 along with other telecom providers.
However, the management noticed a decline in their active users and revenue growth post 5G launch in May 2022.
AtliQo’s business director requested their analytics team to provide a comparison report of KPIs between pre and post-periods of the 5G launch.
The management is keen to compare the performance between these periods and get insights that would enable them to make informed decisions to recover their active user rate and other key metrics.
They also wonder if they can optimize their internet plans to get more active users. Peter Pandey, a junior data analyst, is assigned to this task.

The matrix displays the Average Revenue per User (ARPU) city-wise, highlighting notable changes after the launch of 5G. Out of 15 cities, Rajpur recorded the highest increase percentage of ARPU at 22.25%, closely followed by Ahmedabad and Patna. However, two cities, namely Chennai and Pune, witnessed a decrease in ARPU by 2.59% and 12%, respectively. These findings showcase the varying impact of the 5G launch on different cities and can help Atliqo Telecom tailor their strategies accordingly.
The revenue analysis indicates a general increase in revenue for nine cities, although the percentage increase is relatively low, ranging from a minimum of 0.11% to a maximum of 1.51%. However, the remaining six cities experienced a decline in revenue, with a minimum decrease of 1.29% to a maximum of 2%. These results demonstrate the importance of analyzing revenue data at the city level to identify areas that require improvement and adjust business strategies accordingly.
The data reveals that only three cities experienced an increase in Active Users following the launch of 5G - Pune, Lucknow, and Chennai. Conversely, all other cities observed a decline in Active Users. These findings emphasize the need for a city-specific approach to enhance user engagement and retention.
Mumbai was the only city that managed to control customer unsubscribing, with a decrease of only 12.63%. However, all other cities witnessed a significant loss of customers after the launch of 5G, ranging from a minimum of 12% to a staggering maximum of 77%. This substantial loss of customers poses a significant challenge for the company and underscores the need for effective retention strategies.

The Market Analysis section of the dashboard reveals that the Total Market Value of Atliqo Telecom Company has increased after the launch of 5G, albeit with a slight difference. These findings signify a positive trend for the company and showcase the impact of 5G technology on the telecommunications industry.

The Market Analysis section also indicates a decrease in Atliqo Telecom's market share percentage compared to its competitors after the launch of 5G. Specifically, the share percentage has decreased by 0.68%. These results highlight the intense competition in the telecommunications industry and the need for Atliqo to develop effective strategies to regain its market share.
Total Market value by month shows that their is increase in percentage of Atliqo company, after the launch of 5G.
